Verallia France and Gérard Bertrand present the new wine bottle, outcome of design universe
Verallia France announces the implementation of a very differentiating bottle, designed by student Mélitine Courvoisier, winner of the first edition of the design contest launched by the glassmaker in 2009.
Close to the world of design, VeralliaFrance has been pursuing innovation and prospective initiatives for several years by providing a contest dedicated to tomorrow’s design students. Each year, this event offers them the chance to explore the creative, technical and marketing potential of glass.
Mélitine Courvoisier, student at the EcoleBoulle, a renowned establishment in the field of design, created a very sophisticated bottle. This bottle that revolutionizes the rules of seduction has not only won over the contest’s jury and Verallia, but also Gérard Bertrand.
Having mobilized all the expertise of Verallia’s technical teams for its manufacturing, the innovative bottle is produced in the Cognac-Châteaubernard plant. A real challenge, the bottle perfectly illustrates glass making expertise.
Gérard Bertrand decided to associate this bottle design to a major reference in his collection. The wine and its unique bottle will be available for sale in France and several countries, simultaneously, starting February 2013.
