Discover the 4 winners of the Fund Verallia x Vignerons Engagés
Verallia France and the label Vignerons Engagés unveiled this Wednesday, December 2, 2020 the 4 winners of their fund during a virtual award ceremony. This fund, launched in the summer of 2020 with the label Vignerons Engagés, aims to encourage the resilience and sustainability of the French wine industry and supports winegrowers affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
Among 20 high quality applications, an exceptional jury, composed of Jean-Marie Sermier, Deputy and Vice-President of the Sustainable Development and Regional Planning Commission of the French National Assembly, wine experts, journalists, and members of Verallia France and the label were involved in rewarding 4 projects in 3 different categories.
Category " Biodiversity and environment ":
-Domaine Isle Saint Pierre, for their project "The complete range of wines from resistant grape varieties".
-The Castelbarry Cooperative, for their project "Equipment of plots of land with biodegradable confusers".
Climate Change Adaptation Category:
-Les Vignerons de Buxy, for their project "Experimenting with a solution to fight against spring white frost: thermonebulization".
Category " Territory and local anchoring ":
Agamy, for its project "Support for the co-piloting of the farm to perpetuate the Beaujolais vineyard".
